Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler, a Z-grade film reviewer, is renowned for her morbid appreciation of dumb action films and horror films. She began reviewing in late 2009, and when she gained some status on their forums (under her old handle Obscurus Lupa) she joined the ranks of the Channel Awesome family. Beginning in early 2015, she joined the site when Obscurus Lupa Presents transformed into Movie Nights. The host hosts two podcasts on the channel. Both are based on the Charmed series and are co-hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She reviews horrible films aimed at children, or RiffTrax programs, and also sometimes adult-oriented films (including Baywatch (2017)). She began in late 2009 to write reviews of films and began to gain a following on forums like the Channel Awesome forums. She was then accepted into the network's family of movie critics. She's been on many Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. She was once a member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and often appeared on episode of the Nostalgia Critic.
